Do I need an account to book?

Accepted Answer

No. You can request a rental without an account. Keep the email and reference (DEV-… or RES-…): the Track page retrieves quotes, contract, invoice and messages. An account is optional.

Is my request confirmed immediately?

Accepted Answer

No: after you sign the contract, the request stays pending 24–48 h (business days) while we check stock and accept or suggest an alternative. You get an email and can chat on the quote/booking thread.

Which days can I book?

Accepted Answer

Handover and return Monday to Friday only. An event weekend is Friday to Monday, billed as 2 days, no surcharge. Pick dates first: stock shown is exact for that period (no overbooking).

How does the deposit work?

The deposit is shown per item (and extras) and totaled in the cart and contract. Payable only in cash or cheque at handover. Cashed only after the photo condition report, in case of damage, loss or non-return.

How is a weekend billed?

Friday to Monday inclusive = exactly 2 days, no seasonal surcharge. No handover or return on Saturday or Sunday.

What are the delivery zones?

Free pickup in Village-Neuf. Zone 0 (0–5 km) free. Zone 1 Saint-Louis/Huningue (~8 km) €10 one way / €18 round trip. Zone 2 Basel/Lörrach (~8–15 km) €25 / €45. Zone 3 Mulhouse (~25–40 km) €20 / €35. Beyond ~40 km: on quote.

Switzerland delivery: which formalities?

Temporary admission or an ATA carnet may be required depending on nature and value. We help with paperwork; allow extra lead time. Invoicing always in EUR with “VAT not applicable, art. 293 B CGI”.

Why no VAT on invoices?

Accepted Answer

French sole trader under the VAT franchise. All invoices carry “VAT not applicable, art. 293 B CGI”, including DE and CH. CHF amounts are indicative; payment in euros only.

When is the contract signed?

Accepted Answer

After checkout, a contract page opens (condition, cleaning, deposit, GDPR). You tick the required boxes and sign. A printable version is available before and after signing (date, time and signature on the final PDF).

How does equipment return work?

Accepted Answer

Digital contradictory condition report (photos + comments) at handover and return. Equipment must be clean as recorded. Deposit released after inspection unless damaged.

Can I cancel or change a booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from My account or Track (email + reference), until the day before start. Free up to 14 days before. 14–7 days: 30% of rental. Under 7 days: 50%. Committed delivery/setup fees may still apply (T&Cs).

Do you offer setup?

Yes, optional in the cart: setup only, setup + teardown, or Premium (large volume, machines, photo corner, complex décor). Fees shown in extras.

How does decoration work?

Two paths: ready-made packs (customisable, sometimes on promo) and bespoke design (pieces, colours, occasion). You can select several packs. Request via the décor form — a quote, not the same stock logic as rental gear.

Can I use a promo code?

Accepted Answer

Yes — there is a promo field in the cart. Some décor packs also show a promo ribbon. Apply the code before signing the contract.

Which payment methods?

Rental: bank transfer (and card if enabled). Deposit: cash or cheque only, at handover. Invoicing and payment in euros only. CHF totals are indicative.
